J.D. Power ranks NYCM Insurance #1 in New York in Customer Satisfaction, 2 years in a row


We are humbled and proud to announce that NYCM Insurance has been ranked #1 in Customer Satisfaction Among Auto Insurers in New York, 2 Years in a Row by J.D. Power. Generated from the company’s annual auto insurance study, the ranking is a testament to our focus on customer service and our need to provide the highest possible care. Thank you, New York for making this possible; we’re so grateful!

Who is J.D. Power? 

J.D. Power is a global leader in consumer insights, data, analytics and advisory services that helps clients drive growth and profitability. The J.D. Power 2019 Auto Insurance study makes the 20th anniversary of the study and considers five factors as it relates to customers’ satisfaction with their auto insurance provider: 
  • Interaction
  • Policy Offerings
  • Price
  • Billing Process and Policy Information
  • Claims 

How does the study work?

The study is based on 42,759 auto insurance customers in total and uses and enhanced sample structure to provide benchmarks in 11 key regions – New York is one of these regions! Using regional methodology allows for J.D. Power to accurately measure insurer needs across different markets and geographic locations. 

What this means to us

Operating solely in New York State, we feel especially honored to be receiving this award. We know that owning a vehicle and driving in New York comes with its own challenges, including active deer and what sometimes feels like endless snowstorms. We can relate to this! Which is why we’re constantly working to provide our customers with the best possible offerings for our area.
