Here at NYCM Insurance, we keep “embracing community” and
“succeeding as a team” at the core of everything we do. Not only do we take
pride in satisfying
our customers, but take enormous pride in supporting over 550

getting involved, raising awareness, and supporting the causes that resonate
with them on a personal level.

To spread
awareness, we offer informative kick off meetings throughout the year that allow
local representatives from these organizations to speak on-site to
employees about how their
support helps and how they can get involved.
One of
NYCM’s core values, succeed as a team, is ever-present as employees join together
for causes that affect many of them on a personal level. Employees also use
internal fundraising to support the causes they are passionate about.
Past
fundraisers have included partnering with Love Your Melon and Pura Vida
Bracelets for internal hat and bracelet sales, as well as employee-run golf
outings and blackjack tournaments with our friends at Pathfinder Village. This
year, for the month of September, we launched a “Casual for a Cause” campaign
where employees could dress casually to work for the month in exchange for a
$10 donation. Together as a team, we raised over $5,000, and all proceeds will
be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association where funds are used to support
people in our local community.
